On June 24,2002 we were contacted about  "Something Not Very Friendly In My Home!!"

We did research on the history of the location and pre-interviews with the persons involved.

The following is a summary of the case and references to the above images.


At about 7pm, Sat, June 29th Bryan, Carol and I met with members of the family who had witnessed the phenomena. They told us about some of the incidents and answered basic questions from us concerning the history of the house and the family. One of the members of the family, a girl in her late teens, was somewhat resentful of the investigation. Upon trying to resolve some of this, some latent hostility between members of the family came to the forefront. That led us into a discussion concerning family dynamics, which are somewhat volatile and include an impending divorce, drug abuse, teenage pregnancy, and verbal abuse. The person also admitted to practicing a form of witchcraft and of possibly inviting something into the home. The history of the house is pretty well unknown before 1990. It was built in about 1960. When we arrived at the house, we unloaded our equipment and then took an informal tour of the home. We then began taking preliminary readings and continued discussions with the family. They continued to have many stories for us. Readings showed some sort of consistent, yet untraceable anomaly near the pool table in the living room area and one near the closet under the stairs in the bedroom. Bryan set up seven zones in the bedroom, set up two video cameras, thermometers, and EMF detectors. He also put a motion sensor in the storage room adjacent to the bedroom. The only entrance to that room was via the bedroom. During the night, it went off twice. Once probably due to a cat, the other was unexplainable. Upon first viewing the video, a few orbs were noted but due to timing quality and motion, they were most probably dust particles. Not much else was noted during periods of watching or when checking readings. It was then decided that as the phenomena occurred mainly when members of the family were sleeping in the room, we asked them to do so. One volunteered to do so. While she was there, there was a small increase in activity. There was also a scratching noise in the area of the closet anomaly that had not been previously noticed, This noise finally drove the person from the room. Upon checking the rooms readings, the scratching noise was investigated, with no explanation. It remained fairly consistent and somewhat patterned between scratching and pausing. Throughout the night persons in the room changed, with the strongest activity being when the primary occupant of the room was present. Along with the orbs, odd shaped light patterns, and odd shadows were noticed. The orbs were not consistent with those produced by dust particles. The varied greatly in size, shape, and translucency, and most of all in movement. Some moved slowly, others quickly, some would change directions, others would hover and then move away. The people would notice lights, some red lights, and sensed figures. Near the end of the night, Bryan went into the room with one of the family members. He sat near the closet while the person was in the bed. .He noticed that when he took a picture in the direction of the closet, a dark form seemed to hover near the ceiling just outside of the closet. I was called in to verify this and did see the same thing. I thought that it was an optical illusion due to the flash at first, but over time it changed in color, size and began to move. Also, even though we were at significantly different heights and locations, the object seemed to be in the exact same place for both of us. From then on Bryan and either Carol or I were in the room when the family members were present. We continued to see and sense things including Bryan being "Thumped" on the Temple, having his shirt "played with" and an EMF detector placed by the closet going off occasionally. At about 5am we decided to stop the investigation and at the request of the family. Do a cleansing at the home. The only thing of note during the cleansing was a feeling of heaviness and resistance in the basement near the pool table and especially in the bedroom. Also, in these areas the smoke turned from a soft white-gray to and almost brown color with a foul smell. This disappeared after the bedroom was complete. Extra attention was given to the closet area. The family was given suggestions for maintaining the cleansing on a regular basis. As a side note, some Reiki was performed on one of the family members. Repeat sessions are indicated.

9:45-we arrived at the home and xxx gives a tour of the room.

10:00-setup of equipment and baseline readings are taken.

10:20-baseline readings verified.

10:30-recording started.

10:45-cat sneaks into North storage room and sets off motion sensor. (cat then locked in room on                     opposite side of home upstairs)

11:30-xxx volunteers to sleep in room being monitored.

11:50-xxx jumps out of bed “that scratching is starting again”. We then recorded a
          scratching sound coming from a concrete basement wall on the West area 7. we
          played back the sound for xxx and she said that the sound is one of the things that
          she has been hearing.

12:10-Readings are taken.

12:13-The motion sensor in the North storage room goes off.

12:15-xxx and xxx go to room to lay down.

12:18-Both remote temperature sensors start to fail to send information to the base. (Changed batteries)


1:00-Reading taken and 8mm in location 4 is aimed at North storage closet
         xxx and xxx  go back into room.

2:00-Readings are taken.
       Xxx  and  xxx return to room.

2:13-xxx says that she sees something, and then the EMF meter in location 7 starts slowly
      beeping and progressively get faster. This lasts about 20 seconds.

2:20-xxx and “xxx” leave room and say that they feel like they are having problems
                        breathing in the room.

2:31-xxx and “xxx” return to room, but only if Bryan will go in with them”

2:43-While xxx, “xxx’ and Bryan are in the room,  xxx  says that she feels something
        on the East Side of the bed. At the same time Bryan reports that he feels a “Tapping”
        on the right side of his face. The “tapping” starts just seconds before the EMF meter in location 7           starts going off  again. This lasts about a minute.

2:54-Readings are taken. We then noticed that one of the temperature sensors has switched from F to C (this is a physical switch)

3:00-xxx and xxx Returned to room with Bryan and now Wendy joins too.

3:15-xxx says that her arm is feeling sold and that she can feel something in the room.

3:45-xxx says that she needs to leave the room, so xxx and xxx go back to the room.
       So do Bryan and Wendy.

3:50-xxx says that she “feels something sitting on the bed  At about the same time,Bryan
        reports feeling something touching the right side of his face again,” and the EMF meter  beeps a             couple of times. Wendy later reports that she saw something  in the same area  as Bryan.

4:00-Wendy leaves room, and is replaced by Carol.

4:25-xxx reports that a “man in a robe” is looking at her from the North storage area, and
       then she says  that she sees “shadows and red dots” on the ceiling and North wall.
       At the same time Carol reports the same “shadows and dots”

4:30-xxx says that she can see part of the man. (this is the first time that she
          has seen any features.  Xxx   is having a very hard time staying in the room.

5:00-Wendy begins Cleansing.

6:30-Clean up of equipment.

7:00-Final reading are taken. ( all areas within normal readings)

We were sent an e-mail several weeks after the investigation:

Things have actually been quite quiet here and we are SO VERY GRATEFUL for that xxxxx still has a hard time sleeping in her room alone, but I think in time that will pass.   I haven't had any trouble being downstairs, however, I'm not real anxious to hang out down there alone either. Not because of any happenings but rather just memories I  guess.
